I agree. I was very surprised to see the backlash. Who's surprised Ted wanted to pursue Robin after 9 seasons of him being in love with her? Who's surprised Barney Stinson's marriage didn't work? It's not the happiest ending ever, but I like how the writers kept the characters grounded and real when telling the story…
