Just so we're clear; Dallas (City) Green (and Colour). I make no defense on whether or not that's lame, but there's reason.

Go figure that the person that seems to win a rap beef is a 74 year old white guy from Scarborough.

As long as your definition of serious is quantity and not quality, you're set. No serious record collection is missing the Goodwill trifecta of some old religious album, Herb Alpert (preferably with the Tijuana Brass) and Bowie's Let's Dance, picked up for a collective 88 cents.

I'm agnostic on Ms Newton John, but I'm thankful ELO recorded a version of Xanadu as well.

I used to live across the road from High Park, we had a family of massive, seemingly docile raccoons living in the car port on the property. I miss those little guys.

It's a brand new day, and the sun is high.
All the angels're singing cause you're gonna die.
Go ahead and laugh, yeah I'm a funny guy,
Tell everyone goodbye…

I'm trying to remember if anyone in Flashpoint ever said the word "Toronto." Landmarks were never hidden, street and location names were always correct, even the geograpical progression of an episode made rough sense, but I don't think they ever overtly acknowledged where they were.

Stewart doesn't play his role particularly big, but calm authority figure, he contrasts well with his angrier, rougher-edged underlings. I'm not sure I buy him as a rural Oregonian though. But, the low-key menace builds tension nicely.

I think it's actually from The Bark Album.

Completely off-topic, but years ago when "Adam" came out on DVD, and Blockbuster was still a thing, the alphabetization of the new releases meant it was right beside a Jeff Goldblum movie called "Adam Resurrected" (IMDB synopsis - "In the aftermath of WWII, a former circus entertainer who was spared from the gas

Yeah, it might be hitting too close to home to me, but Brian ends up still alone, and does everyone's homework. That kind of sucks.

I find it interesting how many of the "modern" logos given are still in use, more or less unchanged, almost 50 years later. I don't know if this means they're all due for a massive change, or if what qualifies as modern hasn't evolved enough to justify such a change.
