Had no idea she was on actually TV. I thought she was one of those angry Youtubers

because in reality, instead of saving 50 people her actions were 1000x more likely to get everyone killed
First, I kinda suspect the ship cannot launch with the outer door open. Secondly, if the most likely and realistic scenario had played out, i.e. Naomi gets herself killed over stupid reasons, she just screwed over her crewmates who are now without their engineer. Don't even get me started on Holden almost moby…
Sorry, just to clarify, it was the right call ONLY if she realized it had a slim chance of working but felt it was worth the risk to save those people, AND only if Amos and the captain were on the same page (clearly they are not). Otherwise it was a dumb-ass dick move.
The only reason those people lined up and acted orderly was because the plot needed them to in order to justify Naomi's dumb call. Opening the doors and trusting the desperate mob not to act like a desperate mob was idiotic.
God Naomi is annoying. Her stupid moralizing is just as bad as Mao's capricious disregard for human life. She makes a stupid call, and just because everything magically works out in her favor, she thinks it was the right one.
agreed, this version is more interesting. its just weird because aside from his determination to find his daughter, his personality is so 180 from what i was expecting
prax seems a lot more gracious in the books. here he's kind of an asshole.
They shot it with a visceral physicality that made it so believable and is sorely missing from so many "female physically dominates through martial arts magic" fight scenes you see everywhere else. I think Bobby may have edged out Amos as the show's resident bruiser bad-ass. Hopefully they give her even more…
I'm way behind on this series. really ought to get caught up because it's probably the most consistently outstanding title out there.
how are they not using amazon at all? last i checked they offered free prime to full time university students.
Honestly, being poor or attractive has less to do with it. If Jonah were an unemployed slacker or a career criminal, his game potential would be higher than that of a Wal-Mart clerk. It's how our society and culture perceives things. And I don't think all women are shallow, I think, as a whole, most people are…
Is the purple man technically a misogynist though? He demeans and treats everyone like objects for his amusement. He just isn't interested in the men sexually.
I never understood why they wrote Danny to act like a child trapped in a man's body. He's a grown ass man who just happened to grow up in an unusual location.
I bet she's that woman who's organization Jessica is trying to infiltrate in the current run
I also think it's kinda weird that they made him undocumented. I've never met or heard of a friend or relative who wasn't at least a legal resident.
I'm not sure if Jianyu/Jason is making us look too good either, but goddamn that dumb scumbag is lovable! lol
There are times when I wonder if I should maybe be a little offended by how the show has Mateo representing filipino men. There aren't a lot of us represented in media and Mateo really doesn't make us look good.
I'll even go so far as to say that Jonah could meet all these women in his life outside of Cloud 9, but they show him batting 1000 with gorgeous women in his role as a Cloud 9 (Wal Mart) employee, and I call bullshit on that.
that's sweet, and what we'd all like to teach our kids, but while personality and chemistry are important and what seal the deal, it's money and looks that get people through the door in the first place more often then not.
