I think vets are kinda split on Trump. Most of us, myself included, hate him passionately. Some hate democrats/liberals more and support him only out of spite. Plus, there's the fact that he appointed Mattis to SecDef, who pretty much anyone who has ever been in uniform worships.

That's funny, because even with the mix up, they should have asked why he wasn't seeing his primary provider through Tricare. Either way, they're obliged to help him, but its really weird they didn't figure it out right away. Although, it is the VA, so maybe it's not that weird…

Only if we get retired with full benefits. Otherwise we're on our own. Unless you count the VA…

Plus, you gotta remember that all these martians basically have severe osteoporosis by Earth standards. Their bones would be extremely brittle. The Reggie Bush/RG3/Tony Romo syndrome if you will lol. And, apparently their exosuit is even weaker than they are. Factor in the strain constant full gravity would place

I chalk that up to weaponized plot-armor

Nothing wrong with that, they're fantastic boobs. Fantastic boobs have been making up for people's other shortcomings since time immemorial

as long as they keep it intentionally ridiculous, this sounds awesome

The entire population of people who have any interest in associating Lena Dunham with the word "penis" are already watching Girls

Her body is inspiring. I take a picture of it to the gym and tape it to the wall BEHIND the treadmill I'm using. #Motivation #RUN lol

"The word 'penis' scandalizes the Today show with the 'actress' Lena Dunham"

but what good are those exoskeletons if some chick grown in low gravity is stronger than it?

"Steve Bannon wanted to make a movie about cloning, abortion, and Nazis with Mel Gibson"

Small arms engagement wise, while I'm sure the Martians have a technological edge, I doubt it's enough of a quantum leap over earth's to give them a game changing advantage. I suspect it'd be something on the order of their weapons being a few ounces lighter, higher capacity, etc.

In all honesty though, the writers spend over half those books spinning wheels while they try to figure out where to go with the protomolecule storyline

Weapons, ammo, gear, packs, 25m forced march to a new position. In war, its not so much the actual combat that puts a physical strain on infantry units, its the logistics

For an earther's entire life, every effort we make, even the basic life supporting functions of our organs require many times the effort than the strain placed on martian or belter bodies. Martians and belters would have spent early childhood development and puberty in low gravity, meaning their ceiling will always

Have you ever been to war? Soldiers and Marines may not have to throw someone but the physicality is a very real and crucial factor, and likely always will be.

The condensed milk goes so well with the bitter blend. so rich and brings out the best of both flavors

when I see a white person I'll let him know

native martians training at 1g is a neat gimmick and might be good for morale, but Earthers are born, bred and spend their entire physical development in full gravity. The Martians would never be able to match them. Earthers would seem superhuman by comparison.
