Candy was beyond great and into stand-out awesome territory, imho. I get pretty frustrated with the endless speedbumps put in the way of Lucifer and Chloe because I really like them and just want to see them together and happy. So I was well-prepared to loathe Candy as both character and plot-device.

So just to be absolutely clear - because this is the point you're contesting - your position is that Hamlet isn't ambiguous about motivations and interpretation of them is clear? I don't think you can mean that, yet my point was that they are ambiguous and open to interpretation and you are disputing my posts.

I have read, watched and studied the play. The point being that there are many ambiguous elements of Hamlet's motivation and character. And yet it is a wonderful play. I am calling out the idea that explicit stating of emotions is a necessary or even good thing to demand of TV drama.

    Son, I am disappoint.

And do Speed and Weed really mix well? Sounds like a horrible combination of drugs if you ask me!

Technically, DEO and Argus are different universes. SHIELD and DEO are different multiverses. ;)

It's been explicitly stated on at least one occasion that Diggle is using "non-lethal" ammo. (Quote marks to highlight that in real-life, such things actually are often lethal or lead to long-term injury). I think in some situations he uses live ammo, though.

I recall Curtis making a comment about how it wasn't viable for mass-sale because it cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to make a single one. I've liked that explanation for superhero tech ever since Batman Begins where Lucius Fox explains the batsuit armour away with "the US government decided that a soldier's

I don't know much about the upcoming Black LIghtning show, but I hope they make his lightning actually black like it was on Young Justice. That was so cool!

Diggle and Dinah are already flirting with each other.

The plan was to lure in Helix and capture them. What makes most sense - to keep the valuable target where you know Helix are going to show up? Or to keep the valuable target off somewhere safe when you spring your trap. Lyla was explicitly setting a trap for Helix. As she knows they're coming and knows they're

How much do they have to explicitly "examine the feelings and motivations", though. We've been with Felicity for over four years, now. We know her pretty well. It seems to me there's an increasing and autistic need to spell out motivations and thought processes by some people, these days. Hamlet must be a nightmare

Oliver does try not to kill people mostly, though. He saves that for the Name Villains. So not caring if he's casually inflicting lethal injuries on people might give Prometheus a slight edge in situations like downing all those cops.

Except knowing Argus it's probably a transponder they're not supposed to have. That's the trouble when the government starts circumventing the law for convenience - you can no longer use the law to deal with people who interefere. It's the same scenario as one criminal stealing from another criminal, you can't just

Well it's the only good reason I can think of why Helix didn't remove his hood in front of Felicity.

Yeah, but you still wouldn't lead an assault on a government black site in them would you?

Plus, did anyone else notice that her example of the harm Caden could do was "ten times worse than Snowden". Snowden being the person who let the American public know what their government was actually up to. Something kind of important to being a democracy! I couldn't help thinking at that moment that from Lyla's

    Oliver's Army?

Given that René knows Quentin is a recovering alcoholic, and given that
Zoe's accident resulted from his own excessive drinking, I just can't
picture him even joking about drinking alcohol again.

I would have liked it to be Felicity's father, but as (iirc) he actually has a criminal record and is a wanted man, the series wouldn't be able to play the Held Without Charge plotline if it was him. Do I remember her father's episodes correctly?
