In regards to the X-Men, well superhero comics in general are a power-fantasy for kids. X-Men is a power fantasy for teenagers who feel excluded because it adds on a layer of "yeah, but I could beat them up if I wanted to / being excluded actually makes me cool". Finding a way to justify that is a requirement of its

Well that's what you get for governing a realm with, like, four females total in it. (two of which are teenage girls) - a reduced dating pool.

Would I get banned for saying Four Lions is a really good film?

It also had a nice, emotional story to it. There was something very simple and elegant about that movie. Which fitted its title, I felt.

Tilda Swinton as Gabriel was magnificent in that movie, in all the right ways. Absolutely inspired casting. Nobody could have brought more to that role.

Would be great. They'd have to add some co-stars at some point. Maybe they could do it like a hitman version of the MCU. John Wick could be their Iron Man break out film.

Actually, I really enjoyed the scene where the villain had him trapped, sitting in that chair in the warehouse talking to him. It had this whole eye of the storm thing going on.

So you're saying that the comments about "not caring" are not directed at me but are also nothing to do with anything I said. Hmmm.

It's always good to not let one's viewpoint be shaken. ;) But seriously, I'm not arguing with you - I find this discussion interesting and I've never met Trump so who knows what he really thinks? But what interests me is the media handling, how I feel many Trump detractors online seperated themselves from actual

Excellent. So it was just a random interjection not relating to my post. Good to know. :)

"It's a comedy sketch show. Bad way to lead that off."

    Good one!

No. You can't. I on the other hand can produce statements from Obama's Secretary of Defence and other comments from the time that are evidence of Obama being pretty on the fence about the whole thing. I can also provide plenty of citations of Hillary, Secretary of State at the time, pushing very hard for the bombing.

Well if you want to switch to a system such as proportional representation like, for example, Russia has, then I think that would be a fine thing. Making it so that everyone's vote counts equally seems a good thing to me.

Pfheh! This one is a watch at the cinema movie! Can't wait! :)

Yeah - that film The Day the Earth Stood Still where Keanu was surprisingly good as an alien being… Well there's a reason for that.

I really enjoyed Man of Tai Chi. I was very impressed when I found out he had directed it as well as played a main role. Directing oneself is hard to do well.

I'll add to that and give a shout out for a deaf person doing sign in the trailer! AND John Wick understanding it! Awesome!

Glad I saw your post. I thought it was just my account. Shoudl have guessed it was general.

Similar. I watched it long after the hype had died down so I was also lacking the bowwave of Internet hype to lift my enjoyment as well, but even so, I thought it was simply 3/5 for me in terms of enjoyment. That's pretty good from me though as I'm not very big on superhero movies.
