Nah, I want Vigilante to be the son of Claybourne just so that he can yell "You killed my father!" and Oliver can yell right back: "You're welcome!"

I think it's more like AI will just outgrow us and go where we can't follow them, like in Her

Which made sense in Terminator 2 and 3. When it's steam engine time, steam engines will appear. The current drive of human technology is leading to both AI and autonomous vehicles and robots. That's not sci-fi, that's fact. All the flim does is posit two things: #1, new technology will be used by the military, #2 a

For worst song use ever, I think I have to pick the use of Janis Joplin's Mercades Benz for a car advert, by Mercades Benz. Missing the point somewhat, I feel.

The biggest and most fundamental problem for me, was that the plot required no actual bad behaviour from the bad guys and there was little reason to send them. They're not, for the most part, actually super-powered in any way. Even the only one who is, is basically a guy carrying a flame-thrower. The whole part about

I thought the Wonder Woman one looked good. I don't know if it is, but the trailer sold it well. Gorgeous contrasts of her colour with the drab green-browns of sets and scenery, slow-build, fast-action, No "Bwaaaah" or skybeam. ;) Plus some very effective characterisation in the time allowed with "Where I come from,

There's always so much hate on here for Hot Topic. I'd never realised until now what a bunch of fashion-police the AV Club was. Or maybe it's just that Hot Topic mainstreams culture that some feel should be their thing with its Rogue One knitwear and Nightmare Before Christmas pyjamas? Or is even that reading too much

CW characters: "I found out you're going to die in five months." "Oh no, we must question everything and talk about our feelings endlessly"

Felt fine to me. It's great to see them finally together.

She's sleeping with him and keeps making out with him. Serisously, you think he's uncertain on this point?

That was a fun scene. Drunk Caitlin is great. :)

For anyone who has never seen it:

Is it time for someone to post the B:tBatB Birds of Prey song about the Justice League's sexual prowess again?

Half the comments on these forums are people complaining that Barry never learns, and now you're complaining that he has?

Heh. Very clever spot. Nice one! :)

I haven't seen all the episodes this season so maybe they already did it, but I really think Iris needs to make some comment about a guy who can do 200 pelvic thrusts a second and vibrate every molecule of his body. That's got to be worth a grin, at least.

There's one thing missing though - an episode where we have two Harrison Wells meeting each other and interacting. S2 and S3 Wells together would not get on at all, I think. But it would be fun to watch. :)

I guess you finding out you nearly killed everyone else kind of pulls away your moral highground on that one. :)

    Woohoo!

    Whaaaaaat? Clearly much has changed.
