It has nothing to do with be a fan of Depp. If you're going to make a stupid comment like that, at least get your facts straight. That fact that you would equate Frid's death with the movie makes you a horrible troll piece of crap.

Yeah, I have to be that nerd. Dark Shadows was only 1,225 episodes long (although numbered to 1,245). Plus Barnabas Collins wasn't introduced until the show had already been on for about a year at the end of episode 210.

It wasn't really days. It was almost a month before the movie came out.
