Cybersecurity does really not work that way. Hacking is not esoteric magic only wielded by powerful wizards, it's an effect of the fact that most software is crap, and even when it isn't, phishing is scarily effective.

Given the very sorry state of web security, I don't think they are particularly worried about national security as such because a celebrity website got hacked.
I guess the mistake we are all making is going by a news story on the AV Club which in its turn got it from Variety, neither of which are experts on crime reporting. Even if you just read the Variety story, it's not saying that much.
Telepunching technology is still in its infancy though, or we'd have a much different Internet.

The word "Wikipedia" in my answer is a hint that I have no clue whatsoever.
Are we moving away from the previous consensus that the word "terrorism" was being way overused, and that everyone should be more careful with it? Maybe I'm still living in the world of circa 2006, but…

For some reason, my counterfeit Bud Light scam wasn't that successful.
Not just criminal, but sympathetic criminal!
"Star Trek Beyond's" is a weird way of spelling "Harold and Kumar's"
No offense, but you need new friends.
Most people probably will, just not people to whom $1.5 million isn't that big a deal.
If you could travel back in time and kill baby Harambe, would you?
It will get there soon enough.
