Ok, from reading the comments (of which most seem to be negative), it is clear that someone has to represent the people who actually like this show.

Lol, I've been wondering that, too. Mostly I think he must be dissatisfied with his character's undevelopment. I liked Hugh-Grant Jeremy, and I liked chubby stressed Jeremy, but I don't really enjoy barely present Jeremy.

I'm with you on this! I think this show isn't going to follow the tropes to a T. It uses them, sure, but it twists them up, too. The "Be Cool" episode clued us in on that. Danny/Mindy are not going to be Ross/Rachel or Jess/Nick, etc. If anything, I think they have a long (but comedic) struggle ahead of them. What

Tim Daly did a fantastic job! He is the first non-Danny love interest that is actually interesting and engaging. (Can we talk about how so many of MIndy's love interests are boring-boring-DULL? I can only remember some of them for how mind-bogglingly boring they were.) Daly's gruff cop character is so interesting—I

It was a bit much. Target bathroom/personal care props, Target detergent, Target bras. It was pretty distracting, but no more so than the Microsoft (the surface, cell phone) product placement. It's just the way it is now. And if it helps a show like the Mindy Project keep its budget and not get axed, then I can accept

Yeah, Too Much Tuna is a little too out there. It took me a few times to finally find the joke not totally foreign and bizarre, and eventually find them funny. I like them better when they, Gil and George(?), are out there in the real world getting a doctor's checkup and realizing they are an odd couple.

Agreed, so excellent. Wish both were in more stuff, but the Kroll Show definitely lets them be their best so it's a good place to be.

I hope they bring back Wheels, Ontario next season! The hair flip is so hilarious. Also, Jeff the Ref and his sad friend-needing, big-butt-having life. I miss them both.

I love all the little things on this show. For its rewatch value alone, it has become one of my favorite shows. Once you get the show, you'll appreciate it more and more, and then one day, you'll realize the comedic genius in it. It's a bit like It's Always Sunny in that regard.

and how he walks backwards with the butt pads sticking out. I laugh every time.

Love the hair flip. It's so dead on

Am I the only one that thinks this episode actually semi-un-developed Peter's character? Throughout the whole episode, he functioned solely as an accessory to Mindy and her quest. We didn't really get to see what he had going on in his life. He functioned as an extreme wingman.

Well, I enjoyed these last two episodes (even with the eps out of order). In fact, I think, since the addition of Adam Pally, the show has been getting its groove back and remembering its weird funky comedy tone (that it had in the pilot and early eps, but lost in an attempt to be a more normal sitcom). The MIndy

Is this the AV Club approach to tv episodes in general or just your approach to Sunny? I've seen grades for tv pilots (or the first few eps of a series) in the C range, and that doesn't correspond to what you're saying.
