The second season is okay. The first has an actual story, and isn't' influenced by that awful teen girl demographic that ruined the latter seasons.

Nic Pizzolatto had YEARS to write season 1, and only six months to write season 2. Seriously, what did people expect? Season 2's biggest fault was setting it in boring-ass LA, the most overdone setting.

Holy shit, American Horror Story is awful television outside of the first two seasons. Don't even associate him with HBO or Pizzolatto
