Sorry about that, sweet cheeks! (Gah! That's the worst!)

Kids will be like Billy Mumy in The Twilight Zone if you don't set limits, people!!

Makes me think of Jaleel or No Deal

I don't think it was as much "southern liberal" as "deep in the middle of the country and never left liberal" to the point where he came off as some sort of savant. I kept thinking he may have been on the spectrum and wouldn't have known how to survive in a strange city, because his brain was so focused on memorizing

That's right!

Yeah. I think she got into some kind of back-and-forth with the funeral person and was so pissed by the argument that she couldn't let it go.

Do you think she was just saying that out of anger/frustration? What was her deal?

Me too. I can't do that during a work week again.

Never say "Unemployed" on anything. Do something freelance, and say you are a freelancer open to full-time employment. (You're welcome!)

I remember when WGN came to my corner of the world. I thought the Bozo-puter was the funniest word ever.

He's the only clown I like!

Definitely. He was written as a selfish, people-hating criminal but he was just so darn adorable.

I'm going to agree with those of you who said Dan Fielding, Clayton Endicott III and Jean-Ralphio Saperstein, and add Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls and that weird gray bully kid from Fairly Oddparents.

Madagascar 3 is totally worth your time, though. It is complete insanity and committed to it.

Yeah. It was funny and I was pretty obsessed with it at the time because it was so different from everything else (the TGIF-style), but it doesn't have that resonance like shows where you actually like and feel invested int he characters' stories like the 70's golden age sitcoms.

A lot of white people here in the south love Tyler Perry movies, especially Madea. It doesn't seem to be a black-or-white thing here, just a "southern moms night out" kind of deal.

I have to start reading them again. They were my favorite authors in my teens and 20's. Also, for a second I read Fitzgerald as Faulkner and thought maybe you were in need of a mental health intervention.

Yeah. It took me several years to actually watch it. It was so hyped when it came out, I felt like I'd seen already seen it.

There's a story with this???? Couldn't they have put the legs photos on the newsstand copies to bring up circ numbers and written a straight article about the meeting? What is happening? Legsit is not a thing, and it can't really be enough of a made-up idea to sustain a story. Can it??? This does not compute.

It's gotten pretty awful over the years. The one thing I really love about Twitter now is live tweeting Me-TV's The Incredible Hulk reruns every week with other smart-asses. It keeps me sane.
