I agree … I actually like Linda as a character and believe the writers have made many strong Linda episodes. Tonight's was a rare(-ish?) miss with the fountain. And then a super miss with the public humiliation during the motivational speaker.

Completely agree and nothing to add. :)

And, save for "The Kids Run Away", perhaps Gayle's, too; her song about the Greek-American dermatologist was sensually hilarious in its absurdity. ("…Won't you enter my acropolis, and make my yogurt Greek? Derek! Derek! Let's you and me make a reunion…") Hahaha!

In "Spaghetti Western and Meatballs", too:
Louise: "I swear my farts smell like your farts? See?" [farts]
Bob: [sniffs] "Hmmm…no, that smells like your mother's."

Linda and Gene each struggle when episodes center on them. In my opinion, the best for the former is either "I Get a Psychic Out of You", "Seaplane", or "Purple Rain-Union"; and, for the latter, either "O.T.: The Outside Toilet", "The Itty Bitty Ditty Committee", or "The Unnatural." And, yes, each episode has grown on

Re cringe factor: I'd add to that "Mutiny on the Windbreaker" (whole family) and "Oh Brother Where Fart Thou?" (Logan); and, perhaps, "Uncle Teddy" (Bob and Linda), although the B story with Teddy, Louise, Gene, and the sink-gunk baby is quite charming.

Yes!! Agreed. Also The song from Late in the Garden of Bob and Louise, "the resuatrant's now a crappy/I think I found my happy……….place!!"

Oh soaring Bob with his pants down got me, too! Also a sucker for sweet Louise moments.

I am such a fan of the show and I always come here to read what the community of Bobites has written about the latest episode. I've never felt the urge to join in, until tonight: the Bob and Louise duet was absolutely outstanding, a better song than half of the crap that real 'artists' write. It was one of the show's
