he's listened to music made by non-collegians and he can phrase and swing. plus his travis picking is rock-solid.

there is a song called "portland" which got cannibalized into
"talent show" that is amazing. and a bunch of gems on Boink. The throwaway tunes were/are better than anything being thrown up now.
