That spin-off would be my favourite show.

I loved the finale and really agree that it makes sense of the whole season, especially in terms of Shosh (The "I HATE YOU" was gold"). It's a shame Jessa's treatment this season couldn't have had a similar validation. I also wish Elijah wasn't increasingly just becoming Hannah's right hand man, he's my favourite

It wasn't difficult to tell that the Brawn tribe were trying to throw the challenge… it was clear in the fact that Sarah and Trish weren't releasing any buoys (even at easy heights) and the fact that Sarah actually said after the challenge that they had tried to throw it but couldn't lose to the brains tribe who were

I would say it's because Vesuvius was always looming over the city of Pompeii waiting to erupt. That's what this episode does by introducing the concept of the mother's mortality and that she may not survive. We are now waiting for the other shoe to drop.

To me, this episode really puts a cloud over the whole show, whether the mother dies or not. Either:
