Yep. And it still ends with him alone, sad, heatbroken. Thats a perfect start for getting back under his father tumb in the years to come. Its is at least a a possibility not for me when it comes to character developement in the years we didn't see.:))

Disregarded? Why? After all Rory broke up with that changed Logan at the end of season 6. It fits nicely that he got back uder his father's thumb after that.
