In his autobiography, he had a line about meeting Russ Meyer that went something like, "The discussion turned to breasts, of which we were both in favor, especially large ones." I don't know how, but those two men made their perviness cute rather than creepy.

Man, if I had a dollar for every time I've heard that

I disagree. I like both the studio and live versions of that song. It's such a fun, catchy song that I can't help but like it, even when Frightened Rabbit turned it into a more bittersweet tune on AV Undercover a few years ago.

I listened to Phish's "A Live One" to see if I could get into them. The first song on the album is "Bouncing Around the Room". I loved it. But none of the songs after that did it for me. The studio version of "Bouncing Around the Room" is okay, but not as good. I'm not a fan of Phish, but I like that one song.

John Schlesinger's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is a good film, but it predates the U2 song and has nothing to do with the Irish struggle for independence. In that one, it's all about the frustration of being unable to get somebody you love to commit to you.

I think that's because the song is itself a slow burn. "Bad" is possibly my favorite U2 song. The studio version is breathtaking, but played live, it just breathes in a way that it can't in a recording.

That version of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" with the gospel choir is phenomenal. Given what a spiritual song it is to begin with, it seems almost obvious that it could be improved with the addition of a choir.

I think it's telling that most of the fraternities bill themselves as "not like the other fraternities". Well, what is the fraternity that all of the others aren't like? I was in college not so very long ago. I knew a lot of frat boys, and yes, many of them were great guys. Many of them didn't fit the frat boy

Peter K. Rosenthal? I fucking love that guy.

You should apologize for that.

Whoever did the narration on this video nailed it. He sounds exactly like those nasally know-it-alls who voice the videos over at serious movie sites. As with all good satire, if you don't listen too closely, it sounds almost like the real thing.

Date rape didn't exist in the 1950s. It's the invention of feminazis intent on turning all men into castrated gamma slaves. I'm sorry, my account seems to have been hacked by some shithead from The Return of Kings. I promise it won't happen again.

I keep expecting them to post one of their own articles on Great Job, Internet!. Same thing, really.

It's funny I know, but it really is so!

What is it about sneaking around that is so much damn fun? I'm playing Skyrim right now and, just as I have in every other Elder Scrolls game, I elect to be a thief. I also was big on Splinter Cell back in the day because the challenge was in figuring out how to get in and out without having to knock more than a few

There's a really good adaptation of Persuasion from 1995. I think it stays pretty close to the book. Just in case you felt like seeing the story onscreen.

All the more reason you should just stay in and watch the show! Not going outside is always preferable to interacting with flesh-and-blood people. (The AV Club)

I'm not going to defend God's Not Dead or The Newsboys, but "Entertaining Angels" is a really, really catchy song. That is all.

I was in a production of Twelfth Night that was held in a room normally reserved for poetry readings and featured a set consisting of no more than a chest and two chairs. Boy, was that a blast. The great thing about Shakespeare is that you really don't need more than a cast and a director that know what the fuck

I'm tempted to see the new one just for Kurt Russell. I respect him for not doing movies as much now that he doesn't have as much to say. He even said he's never seen an Expendables film because those seem like "looking backwards". Kurt Russell is a badass.
