Joss wasn't the showrunner of BtVS anymore during that season—Marti Noxon was. So I don't know if Joss still gave every script final approval during those days.

Absolutely love this show. Can't believe the amount of shit it gets at the AV Club. Good thing you guys don't actually represent the opinion of the overall viewers considering it gets very good ratings for Showtime.
I am kinda curious why Eddie Murphy has a picture of Gil Garcetti next to his piano.
Ha! Me too. I was like: what's so fucking funny about calling that dog "Minor". Answer: Nothing much, unless the doggie's boss' name is Major.
Not a great show, but overall still quite enjoyable. So I hope it gets renewed.
Thank you for the reviews, Alexa. It's why I decided to check this show out to begin with.
Although judging from the number of comments, even if the show gets renewed, the AVclub won't be reviewing its 2nd season.
What kind of argument is that? We will all die eventually, as well. But I'd still prefer my life to be as pleasant as possible until that visit from the grim reaper.
I'm guessing that it's the network that wanted Crash back in the picture—not the writers. Because the suits pretty much follow the tween taste on these matters.
I doubt it, but I think there is a certain clause in some TV contracts about not making huge changes in your appearance without getting a green light from the show's producers first.
No, they don't. But they might deserve to be fired when they wait for several months before finally telling the showrunner of the show they star in about said pregnancy. Even though something like that obviously has a pretty big impact on the show's production and storytelling.
The only thing "unexpected" about Charisma's pregnancy is that she didn't inform the producers of Angel about it till AFTER the writers had already mapped out and written a large chunk of that season's episodes. So they had a to do a LOT of hasty rewriting, which caused that season to be somewhat of a mess, which they…
Dawn Ostroff actually championed Veronica Mars as long as she could. It's most likely her boss (Leslie Moonves) who ordered VM's cancellation. Here's a piece of an interview with Rob Thomas about it:
I found his character a bit too over-the-top at first, but gradually I really liked his friendship with George. So I was happy that Alan had at least a couple of guest appearances in Season 3.
Just plain turd seems a more appropriate moniker for Family Guy.
Not a great last episode, or even particularly good, but that was one helluva ending.
Hopefully TBS or The CW will pick this weird, funny show up.
Yes, that makes a lot more sense and if one or more of those arms had been Abigail's then it would undoubtedly been mentioned. I just meant that I didn't think about that ear till I was reading this comment section.
I was thinking about those extra arms as well.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I would've at least tried to keep Tessa in high school till season 6. College tends to mess up assemble shows like these.
Alan Tudyk is no longer a regular on Suburgatory, so technically they already cut him loose. I did like him on this show, so I'm happy that he'll still show up for a few episodes this season.
Agreed. He does a good job.
He's definitely a helluva lot better than that kid on Once Upon a Time.
