I love most of Clive Barker's books and the Abarat series is no exception. The first two books are full of imaginative world building and characters, but the third book "Absolute Midnight" is just terrible. The first two were building up to a great finale and then it's just like he ran out of ideas or had to rush it to

No, the show needed to be hosted by Ferguson. CBS fucked up when they let him go.

Slow Motion Apocalypse by Grotus ends after 12 minutes of silence with an alternate version of Brown off their previous album

I never realized it had a real title. Spy makes sense musically. Years ago one of my friends had just gotten that lp and was bummed that track wasn't on it. It blew his mind when I showed him how to get to it.

The original vinyl lp of Mr. Bungle's Disco Volante hid a song that way. The Secret Song is buried in a parallel groove to Carry Stress in the Jaw. Subsequent reissues have it following.

John Flansburg's other band Mono Puff has an a capella version of that Pretty Fly song on the album "It's Fun To Steal". It's a nice little interlude between the other songs and I never knew where it was from. Thanks AV Club! https://youtu.be/6Q2EeKD9clI
