I could see that. I've tried similar experiments with cymbals, acoustic guitars and cellos. It's essentially the same way a plate or spring reverb works, just across a different surface. The incoming signal drives the surface to vibrate, the contact mic on the other end picks up the vibrations and sends to the amp.

So you only like acoustic recordings? I'm cool with that. Not trolling, I do too. Especially when really unorthodox sounds are produced acoustically.

I thought he'd retired due to hearing damage. Did I misread that?

Here's my last theory before the kinjacolypse. The Dany/Jon thing is a smoke screen. She loves Jorah and will marry him. Jon will rule the north as her nephew. Upon her death, Lady Mormont will take the throne and all of westeros will go "awww" at once, the resulting heartwarming will thaw the night kings heart, which

So clearly the reason the night King has taken so long to do anything is because all the white walkers and wights have been forging giant fucking chains 24/7 for the last 3 years. not to mention hauling the tons of chain with them on the off chance they might need to haul a dead dragon out of a lake.

I've found that The Dark Crystal syncs well with Portishead's s/t album. Not necessarily thematically but definitely tonally and the stilted action of the puppets often falls on beat.

My wife worked there in high school and the answer is just as awful as you can imagine. Also ball crawl pits are disgusting.

I think angular does apply in terms of music if you think about the shape of soundwaves and how they sound. Sine- smooth, saw- jagged, square- angular. This is vastly over simplifying because there's infinitely more waveforms and combinations.

I remember being amused by that detail because it was just decorating the peephole. I had done the same thing to my thermostat because it was on a small wall that didn't have room for a painting.

": Smash Mouth’s “Walkin’ On The Sun” is a great song, and the band’s Shrek-fueled fall into viral punching bag since then has only obscured how that cool Farfisa riff cut through all the Counting Crows-esque simpering…".
That riff was pretty much lifted(with a little variation, but even the organ tone is similar)

Why not? There's plenty of commenters here with as much or more insight that can write reviews. Crowdsource this shit. All you need is a domain and a clever name.

This reminds me of several years ago when jalopnik became a part of Gawker media. A lot of the commentariat were upset by the new format, commenting system, new beurocracy, etc. So they they started their own car blog and a lot more of the old commentariat came over and it became it's own thing. It's called hooniverse

That's what I thought.

Am I the only one that remembers the theory that she survived the crash and eventually died of whatever and her body was devoured by coconut crabs? I like that one. It's tidy.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if the rapture already happened and so few were deemed worthy that no one noticed?

They are listed in the credits as restaurant customers, so go ahead and make that 100% certainty.

First time I saw them was on the Mollusk tour. On mescaline. One of the best concert experiences of my life.

I was looking for some j. Mascis love. I cant even pick my favorite of his solos

Or the Argus

Thanks for the clarification. I did miss that bit.
