I wish cable channels had streaming services that you could pay a fee for but not have to have cable service. I don't want cable but I'd kill to have access to TCM.

I do enjoy the Illiad, although I would stress the importance of a good translation but The Odyssey is easily the better book. Though honestly if we're talking older epics, the not nearly as ancient but still completely epic Journey to the West is pretty outright amazing.

I say make all the books into films, I'd love to watch Disney struggle to make "family friendly entertainment" out of the insanity of Swiftly Tilting Planet…or even the vein of insanity that runs through A Wrinkle in Time.
