Grosse Pointe Blank is my favorite movie. A dark comedy about an absurd subject, starring my favorite actor, set in my home state, with songs composed by one of my favorite musicians, it just checks all my boxes. Plus Minnie Driver is the perfect combination of smart, snarky, sweet, and drop-dead gorgeous.

I actually think Zooropa (and Achtung Baby) was way ahead of its time. It captures the themes of alienation, pervasive commercialism and simultaneous connection/disconnection of technology so well.
