Justin Theroux's dick would like to disagree with you there.

Also, no Tom Bombardil. Which is just an insult to the fandom.

Of course, then DC came along and did their own universe thingy….

I'd say that honor goes to Sagan's statement about the pale blue dot (this video gives me the chills, every time I watch it https://www.youtube.com/wat…. But yeah, point taken.

I don't know where I read it but apparently Martin won't allow anyone to finish the series for him in case he dies. Maybe it's in his contract with his publisher? Anyway, sounds just like another big fuck you to the fandom. Kind of glad that I haven't read any of the books so far and am sticking with the tv show for

Yes, Scott Buck is the reason why I'm still not really convinced that this'll actually be any good. The guy has a terrible track record.

Oh, okay. I never really got that from watching AoS. Thanks for the reply. Still, this new show seems to be going down a similar path they went down on AoS with a war between humanity/inhumanity and so on.

So, did we like this? It didn't look half bad, I thought. A little generic, but after all the backlash that one photo got I was expecting much, much worse.

Will this horror story never end?

Thanks for the update.

You'd be surprised how often this exact thought comes to my mind.

All true. But I thought the sequence was skillfully enough photographed, edited and scored so that it's still plenty memorable and defining, even ten years (probably) since I'd last seen the movie. I still like the first one a lot. The series went straight to shit with the second one, though.

I saw the third one in the theater. By the time that one dude got drowned in liquified pig cadavers I knew then and there that this was the last SAW movie for me. No need for anyone to put themselves through this.

Far away and buried deep under the ground, hopefully.

Oh, I didn't even know they did another one together. Will have to check that out, thanks.

Right. Thank you.

Am I misremembering something here or was that season seven opener already shown in one of the last episodes of season six?

Yeah, I get that. And nothing wrong with, either. It just never seemed worth the time.

Ever since Boardwalk, Take Shelter, Revolutionary Road and, yes, even that highly uneven and underwhelming Herzog flick 'My Son, My Son…' he's become one of my favorite actors out there. He has this certain strange delivery which gives most of his performances a sort of chilly unease. And you never quite know what

I don't think I ever saw a single episode in its entirety. Something about the idea of catching up with, what, 400 hours of television scared me off. Plus, the bits and pieces that I have seen seemed so hacky and silly that it just didn't seem worth it - and I watched all of the Star Trek shows, mind you. All of them.
