Ha. I probably wouldn't even have noticed.
Ha. I probably wouldn't even have noticed.
Then again, would you have expected such a huge audience for Game of Thrones based on the selling numbers? I mean, most of the time this probably has very little to do with enough of a core audience and more to do with hitting the zeitgeist in the exact right moment of time,0 with enough people recommending this to…
I don't know. This may sound good in theory but I'm not sure it would actually translate into an ongoing tv series all that well. Like you said further down, this series - and I like it very much, by the way - is just a little too weird with too much filler that feels rather aimless.
I sadly share your bad feelings.
I have no idea. No news since they announced the screenwriter to be Billy Ray. Apparently (I think it was Mr. Greene who made me aware of this a couple of posts down) it has been delayed due to script changes or something.
Oh, sure. But it would be kind of fucked up to tease the audience that way and then don't deliver, don't you agree?
I was just thinking (and posting) the same thing.
That's a lot of murder mystery between this one and the one about H.H. Holmes that they're also planning to do together.
I still wonder how Mädchen Amick, Peggy Lipton, Russ Tamblyn, Everett McGill etc. will play into the bigger picture. I mean, mostly we've only gotten glimpses of them (Grace Zabriskie didn't even have lines as of episode 9). They seem to be doing their own show. Which is fine, that was the case for a lot of characters…
True. That might the one thing that I'm mostly disappointed in with this new season: We get to spent too little time with the characters we mostly care about. I mean, Robert Forster and Naomi Watts are all great but they weren't really what I was mostly looking forward to.
Back when her return to Twin Peaks was confirmed her capacity was described as a 'major presence'. The fact that she has yet to appear makes me wonder how impactful her part will actually be.
Yeah, I really don't remember that at all. Which, considering how many shows I watch and don't really have time for re-watches before new seasons start, isn't that surprising.
I'm very sorry I didn't recall what appears to have been a throw away line from three years before. Still doesn't really redeem the shitty character.
Ha! Yeah, that won't went by in no time.
After AD season four and that abomination they called the new season of the X-Files… I sadly have to agree. Better to leave good enough alone. They can't all be the new Twin Peaks.
On the other hand, Fat Naxon sounds like an awesome Darkwing Duck villain.
I mean, it's right there for the taking. Why rename it and cast new actors?
The hotness don't enter into it. He's stone dead.
Fun fact: Did you know that the German word 'Mist' can actually be translated to 'dreck', 'rubbish' or 'cow dung'? It's true.
I see what you did there. Good one.
