Plus, she's totally naked half the time. So, win-win?

Remember how the series could make feel joyous and then incredibly sad in a matter of minutes? Yeah, scratch the joyous part and you've got FWWM. One of the most depressing and miserable movies I've ever seen. But I like it a lot and think it's highly underrated.

James' was boring. Super Nadine was straight up annoying, though. Of all the characters they're bringing back, I think I mostly could have done without her.

Do you know Norm McDonald's insane take on that joke? It's fucking hilarious.

Yeah, definitively the weak link in what is otherwise a pretty terrific cast.

So, is this the most people have been talking about Last Man Standing since its premiere six years ago?

Maybe. Then again, if his Star Trek had the visuals of Hannibal and American Gods I could maybe understand why they wouldn't be able to see eye to eye. He is a very experimental type and I want Star Trek to be 'normal looking'.

Sure, they will. But it's the whole attitude that comes before that is so exhausting to me. How are you going to convince a new audience to give Star Trek a shot when the old one's such condescending asshole about it?

Of course, they're their strongest advocates. But it's impossible to please them. No Star Trek at all is bad, but of course if new Star Trek isn't exactly what it is they want then the project is dead to them before they have even seen a first image. The reactions around here towards this new show just prove my point.…

I just hope they visit that screaming sun from Rick and Morty.

That's why he left? Last I heard was that he had his hands full with both American Gods as well as that Amazing Stories reboot he's developing for NBC.

Isn't Neil deGrasse Tyson hosting a show titled Star Talk, already?

It's amazing to me how Wesley was the most hated character on TNG, but Will Wheaton has somehow managed to become this cultural… I almost want to say, icon. I mean, he is a cool fucking dude. But who would have thought 30 years ago that a Wesley-helmed new show is something people would eventually want to see?

I'm more of a bonbon guy, myself, anyway.

Also dead.

Well, I banged Eartha Kitt on an airplane bathroom.

Buffy is a good comparison. X-Files probably, too.

I remember hating it. I don't remember what it was actually about. I think Troi and Riker were in it?

There is this one guy who comes here who's trying to convince everybody that a Harry Kim spin-off is a good idea. Maybe he should give defending Voyager a try?

DS9 is the best of all Star Trek shows. But don't expect serialization the way that tv shows are serialized today. It's still mostly stand-alone episodes with the whole Dominian War/Prophet storylines, that become dominant around season four, being the ongoing conflicts.
