"Prestige in its bones."

I almost walked out of the movie during the opening credits, this is how much that song agonized me (not that the film that followed in any way made up for it).

I didn't see Creed but when I saw Rylance on the list of nominees I thought 'Ouh, that's nice. He won't win, though'. I was quite delighted when I saw his name on the list of winners. He gave a warm, funny, refreshingly understated performance. Good choice imo.

Yeah, that argument keeps popping up like it's the magical rebuttal to anyone who has a negative opinion about this show. I don't read the comics so honestly I don't give a flying fuck what happens in them and how they translate it to the screen. What happens on the screen needs to be able to hold its own (which is

Everyone on Arrested Development. Well, maybe not Buster.

The chricket gag was gold. But the line that cracked me up the most was right after Christine broke the table and Dale went like: "There goes my deposit. And my pizza." Dale is an obnoxious ass but Zach's delivery nails it.

Fargo and AHS are both qualified for miniseries. What were you referring to?

I like Schwimmer in the role but Emmy worthy? Don't forget that he has to put up against the likes of Ted Danson and Jesse Plemons. And Vance can go for lead or supporting but no matter what happens, Oscar Isaacs owns that one anyway.

Ricky Gervais said it best: Don't put too much weight on the Globes as an assesement of ones work. The tv categories in the supporting acting department alone are evidence enough to show that they don't know what they are talking about and also that they don't give a shit.

Oh, the Globes are held so the HFPA can hang out with super stars like Gaga and Johnny Depp. Nothing to get upset about. Ricky Gervais probably wasn't joking when he pointed out how very much not important this particular award is.

Right out of H.R. Giger's workshop. They still use that thing to tape his current show.

I don't know. Maybe my phrasing was off but I think it said the same thing. Either way, you could tell what I was going for so there's really no need to be this pedantic.

It's curious to me how with most HBO shows I need a while before they click with me and I can really, fully enjoy them. The Leftovers on the other hand had me captivated from episode one. Just the way they showed (or rather: didn't show) the vanishing of the baby and the subsequent chaos that emerged was really well

I believe it when I see it.

Hopefully they're doing another ten episodes and not a shortened season, HBO is notorious for when it comes to finales.

Best episode to date. Stamos and Brewster were both killing it. And how cute was Edie after we find out what was up with her all episode?

Sure. I mean, the man obviously know what he's talking about.

What exactly was that a response to?

Oh boy, me and my loud mouth again. Maybe you and your Dad should have a talk?

That. Also the fact that I've already invested 900 € on the DVD sets ten years ago. Good Jeebus, season box sets used to be fucking expensive.
