It was an attempt at something different and designed that way to accommodate the small budget. I thought it was solid enough for me personally, but I get why it wasn't enough for others and certainly not to attract as massive an audience as Carter probably wanted it to in order to make that third movie he planned as

Yeah, I think I remember people being excited for a stand alone movie involving nothing more than a creepy monster. Something in the style of Home maybe. Instead it was very low key and spectacularly unspectacular. I still sort of liked it. I was in the theater back when it came out and later on bought the DVD (and

Maybe Eddie Murphy finally makes that third Nutty Professor. Then they could nominate him in all four categories for the same picture and be done with it.

If they were to do that then I agree: It should be approached from a completely different angle than the movie's. Psycho is a classic and I love it (and when people annoyingly ask me about my favorite movie of all time I sometimes name that one just to appease them with an answer). But it shouldn't not be remade

Now, that's just ageism. And we need to do something about that.

Maybe it'll be like the time he hosted the Oscars and you won't even notice him.

Right. I mean, it is all taking place withing the same Universe. For instance, there really is no reason for DD not to go after Kilgrave - it's all happening in the same neighborhood and the Avenger stuff (I never saw the movies but from my gathering it's pretty big scale with UFO crashing into buildings and shit)

And what exactly is wrong with that?

It worked so well with both Better Call Saul and Fargo (they released the episodes on a weekly basis, a mere day after it originally aired in the US). I really wish they'd be able to do that with all of their programming.

For a while now I've been expecting them to pull off a twist like that at some point. Might as well happen this season and maybe without us realizing her murder at first. The revelation might then hit us at some point in season five.

And short and fat and bald. Honestly, this show has drifted so far away from the source material (and movie) that that would be the least of my concerns.

I wasn't. Didn't know the first thing about it. The result was mixed - with the positive aspects slightly outweighing the negative ones, which is why I finished the show in the first place and why I'm cautiosly looking forward to the next installment. But it's not like I have blind faith in the people behind this

My guess is that's out of necessity. They probably have to keep the actors busy for a certain while so that the contracts won't expire until they get around to do the Defenders show. Then again, Marvel might have special agreements with its actors to get them back whenever (I don't know how that would agree with the

I know what you're saying. As good/awesome as both of them were, I'm already kind of pissed with myself for having started with both JJ and DD last year, knowing now that I will have to watch every last fucking bit of it because that's just the kind of obsessed nerd that I am. I even looked up Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on

Well said, sir. Very accurate description of my feelings towards the show, as well. Which is why it's going to be hard for Rosenberg to come up with a villain that isn't constantly in the shadows of Tennant's Kilgrave. His and Jessica's backstory was so very well defined that it only highlighted how poorly conceived

Gonna be tough for Rosenberg to come up with a villain that is equally captivating to Kilgrave. Tennant and Ritter's acting off of each other is more or less what made the series work for me. Whenever it wasn't about these two I quickly lost interest in what was happening. They should definitively get rid off Moss and

Hopefully no 'and then'. That guy was such a relentless pain in the ass.

Okay, that's news to me, too. And I've been hanging around these parts of the internet for a while now. Hugh.

That is kind of a relieve. Home might just be my favorite episode from the series but a sequel I don't think is needed. That ending is all the more kick ass for the fact that they never continued it (as is the case for a lot of other X-Files episodes).

Who doesn't love Dogma?
