it sucks that AV Club can't just keep these two unique and rock solid wrestling columns. I love the span of what AV covers and having my wrestling fix here too was a great perk. Oh well. Great writing guys.

you lost me at "five matches a year" Lesnar selling better than AJ Styles (or a dozen other guys). Sorry dude, what are you talking about? In 2 of Lesnar's last 5 matches, I think he took like three moves combined.
thanks for covering this movie. Very underrated. Rauch and Cole were hilarious.
The Michael Bay hate in the last two articles/years is overshadowing one really fun, slick and one all-time great action movie (Bad Boys and The Rock, respectively). Who the hell noticed or cares that a chef getting his kitchen ripped apart yells in Japanese at the culprits. Why does that matter? Why is that a…
couldn't get past the first two listless episodes. Sometimes that's all you get. Oh and the super shitty looking sets were a bummer too.
that's saying very, VERY little.
It's truly sad that America would rather watch another paint by numbers hospital/police/emergency services procedural than something truly unique and hilarious like Trail and Error. But money talks so it looks like T&E will have to do the job so "Chicago Vet's Office" can live.
My god Swarsden is terrible. I've never found anything he's done funny in the least. Then he "starred" in this fetid turd.
I felt the same way. The scene of Deadshot kicking ass and them arriving at Waller's "tower"/Harley in the elevator was all pretty cool less the black tar faceless bad guys. Then the third act and terrible Enchantress destroy my hopes. Ugly looking end of the world effects torpedo'd everything.
Hey…Slipknot lasted 45 seconds or so once they landed.
Serial Mom. What incoherent, weird, terrible, embarrassing dreck.
I demand the wasted Netflix rental/turnaround time and 110 minutes of my life back that "Regeneration" and this writer stole from me. That was so awful. The whole thing took place in an abandoned steel plant and the fight scenes were dull if gory as hell. I say this tongue in cheek but how they could put the…
I did see it actually in English class in 10th grade (i think). It was very solid. Again, just not seeking out old movies like that.
I mean I get it…i was born in '81 and I'm not hankering to see movies from 1962. That said, not seeing the original Star Wars/Godfathers is criminal.
I saw this perfectly described as him "escaping like Cobra Commander at the end of a G.I. Joe episode".
what an oddly negative article about "Married". Give me a writer that actually liked the show.
i noticed the Hammer tech. After the initial "oh cool tie in", who cares? The actor was downright embarrassing. Shakespeare in the Park cranked up to 11. Diamondback was a drag while Cotton Mouth was very intriguing bad guy. Mariah was a nice foil too. Diamondback sucked.
it was surprising alright…but then what. Hammerhead or whatever the generic CW looking villain was in the 2nd half of Luke Cage was humiliating.
Agreed. Anything involving Punisher was some of the best Marvel/Netflix stuff outside DD season 1. The Hand and that corny Scott Glenn shit killed season 2 dead in it's tracks. More like the Foot clan. Ugh….
They need to drop the CGI they're using this season. The vista from the top of the trash heap before Rick was pushed in was laughably awful as well.
