It's a theory, that Oberyn's spear had poison in the blade. We can see his squire rubbing something in it while wearing gloves, right before the fight, and Tywin has mentioned that Oberyn knows how to use poison.

I think he didn't die, but will soon, due to the ingredient.

He was still getting up and trying to fight Oberyn after he was stabbed in the stomach or wherever it was. I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm saying they didn't do a good job of conveying it.

Why are people so sure that the Mountain is dead? I've watched the scene over and over again and there is absolutely no confirmation that he is dead.
