I'm really glad they didn't go there. I didn't like this episode (very predictable) but having Jasper killed himself would have been an awful way to finish the season.

The audio was changed, not the scene itself. It's called ADR. Maybe Tecumseh is right, and it was a very perfunctory ILY, but the choice of having the camera on Lexa (we never see Clarke actually saying those words) and then Lexa's response makes me think they changed in post-produciton.

I'm the idiot, yeah sure… LOL

Considering what Lexa said I think Clarke said something like "I can't lose you again".

Who is Juno?

Clarke said I love you and the camera is on Lexa. This happens all the time.

The I love you was clearly added in pos-production. Jason probably changed it after the backlash. I guess Lexa and Clarke "didn't earn it"…

CORRECTION: Lexa was epic.

I think Jasper was going to kill himself in the end and it was cut.

Dead Lexa is still the best character on this show… shocking.

My guess? Clarke is going to get a blood transfusion with Ontari's nightblood so she can take both chips and go to the CoL without being controlled by Alie (and guess who is going to show up there to protect her?). It's all pretty obvious.

Those fans thought Bellamy handcuffing Clarke was romantic, so…

Is she really though? I can't tell if this is heartbroken/crazy Clarke or if it's just the plot needing Clarke to do this or that. Her characterization has been all over the place.

I agree, Clarke didn't have much choice. But making Clarke actually say that rubs me the wrong way. They are really trying to redeem Bellamy through Clarke but it's very obvious and it simply doesn't work.

There's a lot of problems with this season (a lot) and Lexa's death was the breaking point for me, but Bellamy's characterization is ruining this show. It makes no sense at all and it's so badly written it hurts. Poor Bob is really trying but oh lord…

Except that time he manipulated her feelings and handcuffed her to a chair, remember? But I guess the show decided to forget that.

So now Bellamy is the voice of reason telling everyone not to kill grounders because "they are not our enemies", really? REALLY? This has to be the laziest redemption arc I have ever seen.

Yes, ADC can do badass very well (Lexa feelings) but it's not like this should happen overnight. In this episode alone she manipulated Jack, stole a switchblade, hit him with a clipboard, fought with the pregnant lady, slid down that ship and then jumped into the sea to be reunited with her family. I think she is

"Even though Alicia ultimately sides with her family—who, by the way, rescue her—she still has her doubts. She considers them the lesser of two evils, but I just don’t think that level of skepticism has been earned."

Yeah I remember watching that scene (terrific scene btw) and thinking "that should have been Kalinda!!!". I loved their dynamic so much, I will never get that infamous last scene with them.
