Miles and Neville had much more than just the encounter at the loss of Monroe's girlfriend and baby. Neville was high up in the Monroe Republic in which Miles had a commanding role for years. My take on the camp delivery gone bad is that Neville was with Miles and Bass from the beginning of the Monroe Republic.
