i don't buy Nora was afraid Kevin wouldn't believe her. as he says, why wouldn't he?

well, if her story isn't real, then she just decided to live as a recluse for all this time? i don't buy that one stupid argument in the hotel room would be enough for her to conclude their breakup was definite.
I wouldn't be so sure. I am tempted to think the same thing, but if I forced to offer a rational explanation, I imagine it can be done. For example, Kevin's poison never really killed him, only slowed down his breathing and heart, and Michael, who's not a doctor, just assumed he was dead and buried him. As for Mary's…
There's a loophole. Yes, only the Father knows. But he can 'tell' his chosen people by sending them a 'sign'. At least, that's how I assume they explain the loophole.
I liked how Kevin looked to John to be 'reasonable', and John gave a 'reasonable' answer about how it really *is* weird that Kevin had died and come back to life…
Keep in mind the pattern for the show is to keep things ambiguous. It's mostly the same as LOST. Is supernatural stuff happening, or is there a rational explanation?
The final remaining question (ok, one of them) is what Kevin's relationship is to the Departure and everything else that's been going on. I don't see the show turning him into a Messiah figure (and I wouldn't like that either). But he is 'special', and I surmise we'll see him accept that, one way or another.
