First of all I'm atheist so I'm not calling for any religion to be protected from criticism. Where in my comment did I make such an assertion? You clearly didn't read it properly. Let me repeat: all religions can and must be criticised and never protected from offence. Otherwise what you've got is blasphemy laws.

What the majority think isn't necessarily true or right. Muslims are treated much better in Christian countries and enjoy a lot of rights and privileges that they wouldn't even receive in Muslim countries. Christians are attacked and persecuted in most Muslim countries.

The ironic thing is if one were to criticise Islam and make generalisations about billions of Muslims, they'd be attacked and labelled racist and Islamophobic. Funny that…
