I can accept not loving it, but goddammit I can't believe they have a character say flat out "you all lived this experience, it all happened" right before the end and still the most common response to that ending is "were they dead the whole time?". I mean I know there's some room for interpretation there but wow…

For sure, and the creators promised a complete story, which at the time didn't really happen for most tv shows. So I understand the higher standard. I guess the X Files is a good example of a show that just kinda went on because that's just how TV shows work as long as people are still watching.

Michael Giaccino's score for that show is second to none! I still listen to it at work often. And yeah I forgot that Jin and Sun bit on a rewatch, it was always the candy bar bit that I recalled. A nice surprise on re watch :)

Man talk about a great final season! Angel is tops in that regard for me. I know it wasn't planned that way, but I love it so.

Agreed, I also really love "Not in Portland" early in season 3. And how about that final pack of episodes? "The Brig", "The Man Behind the Curtain", Greatest Hits and all 3 parts of "Through The Looking Glass" is probably the strongest run the show ever had in my mind. Funny coming from a season that starts with

It always seems so much more amplified for LOST. For me it is the show to exemplify the phenomenon of pop culture consensus. Because of the internet and how we discuss these things, people are well aware of a shows rep before watching it.

Oh yeah, I think it's called "The Man in Charge" and yes that is canon from what I understand.

This is entirely too sane of a response to a TV show, are you sure you've been on the internet before :P Are you sure they didn't waste 6 years of your life?

I'm just here for the hats

I think Arlo may have him beat as the biggest asshole in the Givens family, but Raylen certainly took on some of his fathers asshole-ish qualities.

I played through both p3 and p4 over long periods of time dipping in and out when something else interesting came along. I actually think it made those games more meaningful or at least weighty since I spent so much time with the characters and world. Since each one covers a year of school like the Harry Potter books

Oh shit good catch! I've been catching up on Brooklyn 99 recently and Apollo Bars also made a cameo in that show https://i.imgur.com/PtBK3ZA… .

A good list. Glad to see Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Better Call Saul and The Americans in the top 5. Loved Atlanta, but honestly surprised to see it that high. Same with Westworld, good fun, but for me the mystery box style of the show got worse the longer they extended what was essentially a prequel to the show they're

Yeah it's a great way to revisit that film. It's available on the two disc collectors edition for both the DVD and Blu Ray versions. It's a bit hard to find a new copy of the DVD, but the Blu Ray is still around.

I understood making a b&w version of The Mist, since that was essentially a campy b-movie with modern cast, but this seems like an odd choice for a film that was so hyper colored. In the case of The Mist, the b&w made the crappy looking cgi creatures look much better and the mist itself took on a liquid quality.

In Green Room you hear a bunch more of the dog's eating, and I would say it's more disturbing, but you see much less then in GoT.

Glad to hear they're going out on their terms. Haven't watched regularly in a few years, but it was really good for the seasons I watched (1-4 or so). "A Bunch of Baby Ducks" and its sequel "A Bunch of Full Grown Geese" are classic.

There are more than a few times I recall looking at clocks and displays in various episodes and seeing 4:20 as the time. Either a running gag, or the secret of the writers room. Both most likley.

Avatar and Korra have some of the very best action choreography of all time in my estimation. It really shows that they had a fight choreographer on staff for every episode.
