TERRY'S GONNA DIE SAVING THE PRESIDENT OR TERRY'S NEVER GONNA DIE!
TERRY'S GONNA DIE SAVING THE PRESIDENT OR TERRY'S NEVER GONNA DIE!
I'm not gonna lie, when Jake got captured out by the robbers, I was on the edge of my seat.
Spring Awakening & Hamilton are 2 of my favourite musicals right now, so I love that they're in this list.
Jake and Holt were too wrapped up in their own selfish competition to even notice Amy. I guess it's their biggest flaw? Also, we need more Holt photobombs, just saying.
"And now for a message of hope: everything is garbage."
I love that people are replying with Wuntch insults. :') Clearly one of the best Wuntch insults is "If you're here, then who's guarding Hades?"
Gotta admit it, I nearly teared up when Phil went back to Tucson, only to find it deserted.
"Sticks and stones, Raymond."
"Describing your breakfast?"
I think she was pregnant that time. If you rewatch some of the early season 4 episodes (I think it was around the time this was filmed), Andrea was barely in them.
"If you watched the original show and thought that perhaps in real life a
doctor that young, regardless of how intelligent he might be, would
still be far too immature to handle a position like that…"
Damn. That "meep morp zeep" got me emotional. It was Jake and Holt's first conversation, now it's their last conversation. It's an amazing bookend, actually.
I did! Seeing Holt play along with Jake is always fun to watch, but that moment when he became Velvet Thunder…it was epic.
"From now on, call me…Velvet. Thunder."
Wow. That was…some amazing analyzing there. Ever since I started watching the show, I knew Jake was a sad character, but um…good job!
Holt: "Gina, where have you been? You left your cellphone on your desk and I assumed you were dead."
Gina: "I would clearly be buried with my phone."
Maybe it's just Jake's way of thinking? He frames it as a game, so that he's happier on the job.
Why is no one talking about the reason why Jake's a workaholic? That pretty much made the character more likeable, in my opinion. I didn't expect Jake blaming himself for two civilians getting shot the reason for him being a workaholic. I just thought he had no life outside work (which is possible).
Holt: "Actually, the party is over."
Amy: "What?!"
Holt: "THE PARTY IS OVER!"
(beat)
Holt: "Oh. I see. You heard me; you were just taken by surprise."
Chris Parnell played Geoffrey Hoytsman and he appeared as Sophia's boss around 4 episodes before this episode.
I can't believe those kids hated her dance. Gina's dance was a masterpiece.
