I forgot how much I hated these reviews. Most of them being, "This isn't one of my favorite episodes of the show, so I'm gonna sh*t all over it and give no further insight".

I thought Bunheads was… watchable. I mean it had some charming moments and many of the dance sequences were wonderful. But Sutton's performance annoyed the hell out of me. It seemed almost self-mocking. Every other second she was doing a head tilt or odd facial expression. And she spoke in an off-putting, high-pitched

6a started brilliantly but it just fizzled in the last few installments. Vito's tragic arc didn't feel organic, and the writers sorta pulled punches. So, I prefer 6b. But season 6 in general might be the most rewarding season with further re-watches.

I'd say "Sopranos Home Movies" is pretty brilliant in its own way. Much quieter than most of the shows' great episodes but very rewarding with re-watches. Melfi's subplot in "The Blue Comet" is rather iffy, but it's still a great episode. "Mr and Mrs John Sacrimoni Request..", "Kennedy and Heidi", "Walk Like A Man"

If you were talking about Six Feet Under's dream sequences I'd agree.

True Detective? House of Cards? Walking Dead? Even, Game of Thrones? Where's Rectify? There have been a few great things on TV (and the internet) this year. It's certainly been a step up from the last couple years.
