I have to agree with you. I think the masses today thirst for greatness and purpose. Even if something so horrific had to ignite it.

I wish that all students had to watch more movies like this. They are rough. Sure they are. It's war. And I pray that the lessons they instill will make them grow up to hate war.

That is why I watch them. To honor their memory and to have go through a small piece of what they had to go through. Almost like a paying respect thing? Also, it makes me feel as if their sacrifice is better understood and remembered. And hopefully honored.
