Well, now I actually really want to read that, for some reason.

It is so unfortunate that the image of fanfic will always be defined by horrid grammar and random characters pointlessly and graphically bumping uglies in the minds of the majority. I've been writing and reading it for a few years on, and the article is generally spot-on about it.

Eh… I actually really liked the scanning mechanic across all three games. I'm a lore hound when the world is interesting enough to warrant in-depth examination — which the Metroid universe always was — and the paragraphs were rarely explicit enough right off the bat to drain all of the mystery or eerie atmosphere out

I really like the art style in these comics.

I know that's a typo, but I really want to believe that Trump has spent years producing knockoffs of Marlon Brando and he's ready for them to hit the market.

If so many people are ready and willing to vote in Trump, maybe releasing the F.E.V. is the right thing to do.

Kirkman's actual comic series is FAR better, deeper, and consistently well-paced than the show it spawned, so I don't get why the go-to insult for him in this thread is calling him a shitty writer. Recent events seem to indicate that he actually has very little hands-on input over the show and has resigned to the role

Shut up with your balanced logic and just pile hate onto him! It's cool to hate everything about The Walking Dead and everyone involved with it here.

This is what humanity evolved to accomplish.

I sure did love that part in Raiders when Indy swordfought all those pirates on the deck of his flying battleship.

I mean, the old title's still visible in the URL and on the front page, so it's not like there's now just a bunch of posts completely absent of context.

Live hand grenades count as small but solid objects, right?

"The writing has no continuity on these shows, it's like they just make up stuff as they go"

I hope you don't get shouted down for saying this, because it's completely true, and I say that as an active supporter of LGBT+ rights and media representation. Chihiro's story just… isn't about transsexuality.

Adding to this, the main antagonist of the first game (I won't spoil who it is for people who want to go into the game blind) has about a dozen different personalities and identities, and they switch on the fly because they start to get bored so easily. Only when the situation is minutes from wrapping up and the

The games were niche popular when they came out, but the official English localizations and anime adaptation (which… wasn't great on its own, but did make a lot of people more aware of the franchise) were comparatively recent and brought them into the mainstream.

No love for the 1,000 Blows?

Other than the conceit of students trying to commit some kind of murder, I fail to see any distinct similarities. The characters, story arc, tone, and point are all apples to Assassination Classroom's oranges.
