Guess I'll just have to hold firm in disagreeing. I could do without the Dixon cover, though it's an interesting one. Black Friday musically I think is a great song, love the build up. I also don't really see anything wrong about having a song about someone going "postal" as that was reported in the news at the time.

Most Megadeth fans you can break down as either their favorite album is Rust in Peace or Peace Sells… and then those weirdos who pick other albums, lol. For me it's Peace Sells because the songs are solid but the whole thing is more raw and feels like it might come sliding off the tracks at any moment.

Second on Dave and Megadeth. Dude is a shithead (for so many different reasons really), but I can't lie that Peace Sells… But Who's Buying? isn't one of the greatest albums ever.

Some wouldn't consider them. I mean I'm not too big of a fan of them, but that never had to do with who was sleeping with anyone.

Ha, fair enough. I still have trouble with the grammar and properly remembering gendered articles.

If your policy is that any accusation regardless of evidence to the contrary or not should be met with outright castigation by the whole community then you're not going to get anywhere. Like if making a clearly defined defense is always going to be called "dumb justification". It's really not fun to be on the

All that needs to be said about Wagner today.

I mean germans invented the word "schadenfreude". It's a blessed language.

It was Peter Beste's photo so they were breaking copy right by not using it with his permission and I'm sure he informed AV-Club's editor about that.

Hear, hear!

Well Varg did go through that keyboards only phase saying he didn't want to play an african instrument.

Not for gays, huh? Apparently Rob Halford, Gaahl and the Cynic guys missed that note.

I suppose it also depends on the other music. I've never understood why some people can't get over why I don't like certain genres of music. I don't just listen to Metal but there are some styles of music that just don't pull at me at all and if anything just annoy me.

Some, but the vast majority of the issues discussed in this article have already been mulled over by the Metal community and our own networks of journalism. Most have concluded we don't have a secret network of Nazis lurking amongst us. But dead horses rise again when a more mainstream outlet exhumes these things,

When you've grown up being called everything from a loser to a satanist (and sometimes we'll wear the later in pride) just for enjoying abrasive music and liking horror movie lyrics/imagery it phases one far less when other accusations get thrown your way.

Nails and Bowie are the only ones I'll be listening to out of this list, but thank you for including them (and especially for giving Blackstar the top honors).
