It's pretty depressing regarding the restaurants. The malls kinda deserve it IMO. The franchises just open a shitton of locations and put every independent, sit-down resto out of business within a year. I guess malls kinda do the same thing. There is not a single regular restaurant near where I work. All shite chains…

I was in rural Ohio a while back and asked someone where to go shopping for some shoes "Amazon, I guess? Everything has pretty much closed here. Nearest mall is about 2hrs away, but I haven't been in years, it may have closed, too."

Yeah, but I can kinda see what they're saying. Other people are getting frustrated, too. The smoking outside the police station and Ike getting arrested scene felt unnecessary.

They generally take more from up and comers, too, which is straight up criminal.

There are a lot of factors, really. The agents apparently take a pretty big cut of your paycheck, so it gets a bit tricky. Then there are taxes. Make too much, pay a lot, make just under, don't pay so much. Lotta ins, lotta outs.
