Anthony Bourdain is developing a similarly massive food market in New York City (to be called, no joke, "Bourdain Market"). He's even planning on bringing in food vendors from around the world (including ones who have appeared on his shows) to set up shop.

Awesome casting, but they make the movie-based-on-current-events so close the events nowadays he's just not old enough. How about Russel Crowe?

Party Down is right up there with (pre-Netflix) Arrested Development and the UK Office. And it ends with a very satisfying finale.

It's a legit classic, that's why I'm pretty anxious about a 20-years later direct sequel tarnishing the legacy of one of my faves.

AV Club just reviewed a new movie "American Honey" about "magazine crews", which is similar to knife-selling in that it's an awful job where the young kids who are hired are totally exploited.
