It was probably a note saying, "I love you, let's get back together," to Norma.

That's because there are two cups. You are seeing the cup that is obscured by his body.
I don't think he has a Bhuddist background at all. He follows the teachings of the same guy that taught the Beatles to meditate. That guy was a Hindu, I believe.
I think he just follows the meditation.
Good point but I don't think he's coming back because he's already here.
Imagine a season four with him solving new crimes.
You are seeing Coop.
Sometimes when people are brain damaged through a head trauma, they don't retrieve a lot of it back.
I used to work with people that had head traumas.
Movies have made a lot of us think people can just get up and run away after people throw them across the room with one hand.
Most action heroes would…
Everybody is so down on mentally handicapped main characters!
I put a like on that but then realized I wouldn't be allowed on the super good looking people section.
It isn't coincidence. It's an Arnold Schwarzenegger type reply. Imagine the reply with a German accent and you'll say, "Ah, yeah I get it"
I was wondering that too but then thought that if Richard is half Lodge creature he would maybe have a sixth sense about it.
(after edit)
No… I watched the episode again.
Maybe isn't looking at Cooper.
He's looking at Red.
I was rooting for him to slip away. Looking forward to seeing him in the Black Lodge.
Maybe Lynch experiences a weird sense of time in his real life.
That seems to be part of his style.
Real life is kind of like that for all of us though isn't it? Time doesn't seem to be consistent because we are constantly getting interested in things and the time whips by and then we slow down when we shift or relax.
T…
No. This wouldn't be the show to enter into if I had the power. I'd pick Wreck it Ralph or some totally happy place.
For a few seconds I thought Cooper would 'wake up' when he had to open the door himself. I was disappointed when that guy helped him.
It's kind of like raising a child. They have to be put into situations where people allow them to be independent.
If I was able to enter the show, I would put cups of coffee and cherry…
Interesting… My prediction is that Cooper beats the evil Cooper and never loses his mental handicap. He'll solve crimes with his Lodge powers.
Was the ending a cop out? I have to go read the ending now!
Awesome mood story. I can't even remember the twist ending.
You got it there Jordo. Some people think it should be planned and adhered to like an advertisement or a market tested product. Lynch is kind of Art Brut as well, and that is part of his charm.
A lot of people would look at Jean Dubuffet or Henry Darger's work and think it is flawed and clumsy.
Some people believe Lost Highway is all a dream too. Maybe it is their way of being able to watch the show without their rational mind intruding too much.
You make me think you are two feet tall with that comment!
