How does she turn out to be American at the end? That's a huge problem.

His diction and grammar are very precise through the song. The feeling is very educated not at all scouse.
I find the grades here are typically inflated. This was a "C" for me.
These guys need to get beyond the chopsocky fetish and only include fight scenes that are differentiated somehow. Blonde lacks the "world building" (sorry I hate using that term but?) of Wick which for me is the real reason Wick was so likable.
Don't take my word for it check out the Atomic Blonde period appropriate video. https://youtu.be/2HwmO_GZfzI
"I'm the cruiser, your the loser. Me and you sir, Homosapien too."
The review doesn't do justice to the plot. It makes absolutely no sense. I get the feeling the reviewer missed the fact that in the final scene. Theron's character TURNS OUT TO HAVE BEEN AMERICAN ALL ALONG!!!! WTF! How could that work?
Yea, I don't disagree. With the state of movies these days when something like this that seems promising comes out and I don't like it I try not to commit to much to my first read on it because I'm coming in with high expectations and that can throw the experience off.
I agree. Doesn't really work well on any level. Interesting but a misfire.
I saw it last night and was disappointed. A generic crime flick with some dance film grafted on. The music didn't seem loud enough to me for most of the movie. I think toward the end it got better. An interesting expirement like LaLa Land but not much else.
Thanks.
Has anyone seen it? Can I take my 14 year old daughter? How violent is it? Is there any sex?
I think the best you can say about Free Fire is it'll get you through, if you're a crime action freak, until Atomic Blonde and Baby Driver come out. It's pretty meh as long as you can ignore the soundtrack which is tedious. If you aren't jones-ing for a crime flick or have two hours you desperately need to kill wait…
Finally someone got my double entendre! Now are there any Glen Campbell fans around or would they be in the "War on Everyone" review?
Yea, I found him difficult to watch. Accent was bad. Is it because he's too campy?

I'll let Kenneth Lonergan explain it. "I want to see Captain America throw his shield and hit people, and maybe get in trouble and get out of it somehow. I’m not interested in his emotional progression. And I don’t think anybody is. But they keep putting it on and on and on." and my two cents, don't make a pit stop to…
I'd like to see Haywire again. Not willing to pay to do it though.
It's on Netflix.
Christ, I hate Django Unchained almost as much as The Hateful Eight. Tarantino's lost it.
