For me, the point has been that while they've been sacrificing everything for their ideals, they haven't really been raising their children. One of the central tragedies for me in this show is how little they really know their kids, a fact that they just don't get. I mean, my kids are 1 and 5 so maybe when they get to

Tuan?

Do we know he's straight?

I thought it was sweet when she said "It's a little late …" as if they were discussing their own kids.

I think it's even more true for Russian Jews. From what I've heard, as a Jew in Russia you were never truly considered Russian. Judaism has historically been both an ethnicity and a religion.

I bet Stan already has the bootleg cassette.

It may have been a little gloomy but those lamps were 🔥🔥

Did you see how she was biting her lip? It was totally him.

I was wondering if they were setting up Tuan to be gay. Late-night trysts out of state … and maybe that explains why he was begging them not to report it. Maybe I'm just thinking of Chechnya but I wonder what the consequences would have been.

I think it's just a way to put stress on Philip's relationship with another one of his sons. He realizes that he doesn't want to screw Henry up, and that he hasn't been doing such a great job so far. I loved his pained expression when Elizabeth jokes "did you ever expect Henry to be doing better than Paige?" He

To paraphrase Oleg's dad, every family has secrets. P&E keep their secrets for the same reason Oleg's parents did: so the kids can have a "normal" life. But sometimes when we keep secrets to protect our children we're doing more harm than good.

I think he is just going to miss his son. :(

I was wondering the exact same thing.

I was thinking that Philip's job as a honeypot is so much harder than Liz's. He really needs to understand what the women want. Remember how LIz was skeptical that he could get Martha to plant the bug in Gaad's office until he proposed?? Liz just has to breathe on a guy and they start spilling the beans.
