Gen, give it a break. Boyle is funny because we are all embarrassed for him, and he doesn't get it, even when Rosa assaults him with a sound cannon or a shotgun-fired net. It's a comedy for God's sake, not a morality play. You need to develop a sense of Fremdschamen.
