Z is a good movie and worth seeing, but I see what they're saying about lulls.

She had Game of Thrones, I had Bill & Monica.

His character in Studio 60 was great, but damn the rest of that show was really really hard to watch (which I did in the past year, not when it was on).
Then do a separate review, like they do for Game of Thrones. Or put speculation in a separate section with a big warning next to it.
I read recaps and reviews to better understand what I've seen. Think about themes, etc.
I only learned about the Man in Black theory from reading the AVClub reviews. I hate that you put shit like that in them. I probably wouldn't have thought of it on my own otherwise. It really only became hinted at strongly in the previous episode. The idea that it was obvious to everyone is bullshit.
I hated the movie.
Can we kill off Jimmy Olsen and Mon-El?
I only started watching this show because of AV Club. They need to do a better job of advertising that Tricia Helfer is on it. She makes everything better.
A B+ is an A?
But Shinwell is supposed to be the big bad this season, right? He's the bomber from earlier in the season. He's got a gun.
I care so little about Shinwell.
Their quantitative analyst sounded more like a fundamental analyst.
That storyline is before my time. I'll judge this thread based on whether it works. It certainly feels X-Men, but there's no X-men show to tell the story.
"Have the Superman/Supergirl comics ever explored aliens in this metaphorical way before?" - The closest I can think of is the New Krypton/World of New Krypton/War of the Supermen storyline. I liked this approach. I can't believe no one thought to have done it this way though, with alien cantinas in Metropolis. Works…
I only watched about half of the video above and didn't crack a smile once. I don't understand why people think it's so amazing.
Meh, she was halfway competent in the early seasons. It's just that she dragged the show down in later seasons.
Season 1 is only bad in comparison to TV now-a-days. Not so bad for 2001.
I'm glad I pretty much stopped watching the show.
