For me, the line that was crossed was plausibility. There's no way to get away with a fake mom and all of that in the age of the Internet.

They've gone too far into nutso land. That contestant could easily hire a lawyer or private detective to prove that woman was not her mother, and prove she was in foster care.

Why on earth do you think that's relevant to the topic? Do you think the topic is just a general thing about Asians on television shows?

OK, well I see that you're reading comprehension is dangerously low. I use the word concerned, because I was accusing the other commenter oF being a concern troll.

Sometimes you're racist, sometimes you're not. You're a mystery wrapped in an enigma.

No, he never did. Is viewpoint has consistently been that he doesn't like the fact that the character is Asian, because it doesn't fit in. Because he is Asian.

You've already said you agreed with that viewpoint and didn't find it racist downthread.

I'm guessing your shit is white, too. You literally think that white is the accepted standard that needs no justification and everything else is suspect, and you have the fucking audacity to criticize others?

No, you're just a shitty person.

I guess that's a no? If you don't like a white character, you just don't like the character. But if you don't like a nonwhite chatacter, you wonder if the creators were forced to include the character out if politcal correctness and bristle at the thought. Have I got that right?

No, you don't think that when you see a white guy.
And what are these shows where the minority characters just don't fit in? What are the chances that that keeps happening? How odd!

Were you "concerned" that Harmon was forced to add a smarmy fratty white guy as the lead?

And that is why you're a fucking racist because you would NEVER think that about a white guy.
Also, you explicitly and repeatedly said the reason Glenn doesn't fit in is because he is Asian. Not "he didn't fit in, so I wondered if it was because he's Asian when he was written as white", you specifically said he didn't

Based on his race, yes. He sees the casting of nonwhite actors to be a deviation from the accepted standard to be met with suspicion and the burden of proof is upon those casting a nonwhite actor to show that it makes sense and was done for a good reason and wasn't affirmative action.
And somehow you don't see how

And in this case it doesn't make sense, because he's Asian?
Why?

Actually he declared the casting of a non white actor to be "PC bullshit" and "clarified" that Glenn didn't fit in specifically because he was Asian. Then we went on to claim he was "tired" of the "formula" that involved the casting of nowhite actors and included the absurd lie that 5% of characters on TV are Asian.
S

They clearly still matter to some people, who see the casting of a nonwhite actor to be met with suspicion and accusations of probable political correctness.

Yes, It's clear that you don't think Asians fit in with whites. What's hilarious is that you don't think that is racist.

How are you still doubling down on being a racist piece of shit? Are you under the absurd belief that there are no Asians in the South?

In particular, complaining about an Asian cast member, which makes up less than 1 percent of the actors on TV, is insane.
