Yea, I was watching that scene again and figured that out, still wondering whether putting the coin back into Laura is serving Wednesday's purpose somehow or an act of compassion by Sweeney :/

Loved loved loved this episode! I have not read the books hence am new to the premise of this show; I started it because Bryan Fuller was one of the creators and I absolutely loved Hannibal (a piece of art really).
