the matrix 4 could be great social commentary on why we need poverty and centralized power structures and racism/nationalism/sexism for a functional virtual world and then maybe challenge the necessity with a new version of the matrix. the goal of the heros could be to change the matrix and not to destroy it

living in the matrix is exactly like our "real life right about now".

absolutely. the hate for reloaded was stupid. if it would have been one 4 hour movie nobody would have seen it as something worse than part 1.
the endless fight scenes in revolutions were really annoying and boring though.
