The Oldtown library decor being the big sun-thing from the credits had me giggling in delight. What a cool touch.

"He turned into black smoke after being stabbed, which looked pretty cool." Smoke Monster? Soon a mysterious plane will crash in Westeros?

Twilight introduced me to Muse, for which I'll be forever grateful. "Supermassive Black Hole," man…. so great! After hearing that song on the soundtrack (which was, by the way, far and above the best part of that franchise), I was hooked.

"He demands a kingsmoot, which if The Two Towers is any indication ought to be a rollicking conference."
I lol'd. The political machination scenes are generally my least favorite of the series so I hope an Ironborn kingsmoot at least has some entertainment value to keep us engaged.

And the blood version of the Punisher skull left on his chest as he lay there on the floor in the carnage! Brilliant.

Master George appreciation post. Anyone else notice him haphazardly stamping papers on Henry's desk while Tom and Henry car-schemed?

After the last dog being named Isis, who else made a lousy joke about the new puppy being named "Nazi" or something?…. just me?

I was gonna slap the next character who complained about the "Carson & Mrs Carson" dilemna. GET THE HELL OVER IT, PEOPLE. oh my gosh that was so painful, every time there was any conversation with or about those two, every character practically choked themselves trying not to call her Mrs Hughes.

River Song from Doctor Who— I can't bring myself to watch the latest Christmas special because I know it's gonna be all about her again. It's the smug, "I know more about the Doctor than anyone else, including him" attitude that drives me crazy… ugh!

I don't know if it was just me but Malcom's scenes in this episode seemed incredibly stiff and cheesily written. (I'm thinking specifically of the ones with Robyn under the scaffolding, and when he decides not to call Jessica about the apartment intruders.) The way he argues with Robyn about the goodness of humanity—

I felt kinda sick in the last episode with Kilgrave's mom, but that shot of Wendy was above and beyond. Ew.

Amen!! His scene with his parents— before he orders his mom to stab herself mostly, because frankly it makes me want to vomit to think of anything after that— are just stunning. A++ casting and acting.

David Tennant is 100% fantastic as Kilgrave and all that, but at the end of the episode all I was thinking was, damn can that man wear the hell out of a v-neck sweater. And everything else they've put him in.

Glad it wasn't just me going crazy— all of a sudden in that scene on the sidewalk I noticed the voices seemed really weird and off.

That last shot of the street names was absolutely chilling. I don't know in concrete terms what it'll mean for the plot, but it immediately made me think how Jessica's "security blanket" (for lack of a better term for her street name strategy) is going to be ripped to shreds by his association with them now, leaving
